Sat Jan 11 – John Summit + Franklyn Watts

John Summit
Chicago native John Summit is quickly gaining attention for his breakout productions and versatile DJ sets. A natural learner, John has quickly gone from a bedroom producer to a budding musical mainstay whose tracks have become staples in the sets of heavy-hitters like Claude VonStroke, Lee Foss and Walker & Royce, and scored the attention of tech house label giants Repopulate Mars, Toolroom and This Ain’t Bristol.
In 2019, his Dirtybird debut release “Detonate” with Westend dominated the summer festival scene, remaining in the Tech House Top 100 Beatport charts for months and was rinsed by label-head Claude VonStroke during his sets at EDC Vegas and Movement Detroit. John has also been heavily supported by Chicago house legend Gene Farris who recruited him to become an integral part of his record label, Farris Wheel Recordings. The first single, “Guest List,” a collaboration with Dead Space, has since become the highest charting track in the label’s history.
With dance floor weapons like “Trompetas” and “Touch Me”, which went on to be the highest selling track on Psycho Disco, John’s productions bring the groove back to house music with stirring beats that ignite the senses. Keep those eyes locked on Summit because things are only looking up.
