RESONATE – SOUND HEALS
Halcyon introduces ‘Resonate—Sound Heals’ a Sound + Reiki Ceremony to cleanse and elevate the body and soul through instruments, and music. Beginning on Thursdays in March 2017 and continuing ongoing on the last Thursday of every month.
Guests of the classes will be bathed in sound waves that transport them into deeply restorative and meditative states as they recline comfortably on a mat. Sound meditation is a very accessible and highly effective form of meditation for bringing clearing, balancing and harmonization to the body and mind. “We embrace all aspects of the positive energy that music can bring to your life,” explains Gina Milano, owner of Halcyon SF.
On this evening, Becca Davis, and Nicola Noelle Buffa will co-create a space bringing sounds of the gong, crystal and alchemy singing bowls, drums, chimes, and singing, to the ears hearts and bodies of all attending. You will get the enjoy the expansion of light therapy within the space and we will also integrate hands on Reiki touch healing during the session.
Don’t forget to bring yoga mats to rest upon, blankets, pillows, and anything you wish to have in the space for extra comfort. We invite you to relax and find peace and serenity.
Doors open at 7pm, Sound will begin at 7:30pm and end at 8:30pm

Loriel Starr
In her private sessions, workshops, and public events LORIEL STARR creates a space for healing and rejuvenation. Drawing on her extensive studies and private practice, as well as her personal experience, she works with a variety of healing modalities of sound healing, breathwork and somatic experiencing.

Nicola Buffa
Nicola is an Artist & Sound Healer who seeks to assist the natural Creative Spirit of our Collective Consciousness through the powerful transmutation of Sound. A daughter of Jazz Music and Art History, and has an educational background in Psychology, Art, and Communications. She has been studying Sound healing for the past three years in San Francisco, California. As a sound healer, she feels her life’s paths are converging: Her love of the human voice, a profound interest in human behavior and dream psychology, and her deep creativity as an artist and a performer. Drawing on all these interests she has opened her individualized practice, Source Field Sound, as a way to offer Upliftment on all levels through the Mind-Body medicine of Sound Healing. Her sound treatments incorporate Color Therapy, Healing Voice, and Guided Meditation in combination with pure-tone instruments: Alchemical Crystal Bowls, and Color Frequency Tuning Forks. She believes that with the gentle adjustments and transmutations from sound therapy, we can return ourselves to our true state of being; Creative and Joyful.
Becca Davis
Becca, Founder of Namaste Mami, resides in Marin, California where she runs her intuitive reiki healing practice and online blog. She began her personal journey into the holistic healing arts when she was introduced to yoga in 2006. Since then, she has received her Yoga teacher training certification completing 500 hours of training, and is a Reiki Master Teacher. Drawing on her own inspiration and experience with the healing power of sound, she helps guide the listener to open, balance and expand the natural state of the vibrational rhythms within the body, mind and the spirit. She is inspired to serve others along their journey to finding their highest potential.
Jessica Neideffer
Jessica has been practicing energy work and sound healing since 2007. After a life-changing experience during a Reiki session, she awakened to the realization that she was meant to help herself and others heal on a deeper level. Jessica found her purpose and is dedicated to helping ALL find their innate ability to heal themselves from within and reclaim their power.
Reza
Yoga & Sound, the perfect combination. Reza aka DIRTYHERTZ has been harnessing this combo for many years. As a professional DJ he has travelled around the world and held residencies at San Francisco’s legendary clubs Ruby Skye, 1015 Folsom, The Endup, etc.
As a yoga instructor he has been teaching since 2002 at premier studios and GYMs including; It’s Yoga, Equinox, Crunch to name a few. He also runs his own company “Yoga at the office” which provides yoga for businesses in SF, some clients include; Federal reserve bank, WeWork, Zillow, etc.Back in 2004 he threw one of the first yoga/dance parties in San Francisco named “Opium”.We are looking forward to having him at Halcyon to combine all that experience in Yoga & Sound under our roof.
