DJ Mag – BEST OF NORTH AMERICA AWARDS TOUR
DJ Mag USA has spread its wings to cover our friends in the north (this means you, Canada) and in its place, DJ Mag North America takes flight. With it, comes the sister awards to our wildly successful Best of British Awards, aptly titled the Best of North America Awards.
Here at DJ Mag we know how polarising the Top 100 DJs poll can be, however, it’s publicly voted and therefore out of our control. Best of North America, however, allows us to highlight the hard-working acts that have helped the underground thrive in 2017.
Over the past couple months, we’ve been busy hashing out the nominations, which include unstoppable talents such as Carl Craig, Maceo Plex, The Black Madonna, Mike Servito, Kaytranada, Lauren Lane, The Martinez Brothers, Claude VonStroke, Kerri Chandler, Avalon Emerson and DJ Earl.
To celebrate the BoNA awards, we’re touring across the States and Canada, bringing a selection of nominees along for the ride.
Kicking off on Thursday 6th July at Exchange L.A. with 12th Planet, Chris Lake, Blaise and more, we’ll head over to Soundcheck, Washington the following day (7th July) with Autograf (DJ set).
Next up on Saturday 8th July, Heart Miami hosts Moon Boots, Kill Frenzy b2b Will Clarke and My Favourite Robot, before we switch coasts to San Francisco where Victor Calderone heads up our party at Halcyon on Friday 14th July.
Then we’ll be flying back east on Saturday 22nd July, when the legendary Carl Craig will headline House Of Yes in NYC.
